So, I’ve done it. Put most of the non-food posts in one blog. Here. It might look confusing having things like film, theater and parenting in a blog called “Sassy Lawyer” but, hey, a lot of us female lawyers do have children and we have something to share about parenting as much as non-lawyers. And some of us do have hobbies that are totally unrelated to the law and we like to talk about those things too.
Why use the sassylawyer.com domain for all that stuff?
I have to thank Minecraft for that. No, I don’t play the game but, on a whim, I decided to check the page rank of sassylawyer.com which I hadn’t touched in over six years after I quit writing the Sassy Lawyer column for Manila Standard Today. I set the domain to redirect to casaveneracion.com and left it like that.
Imagine my surprise when I found out that sassylawyer.com has retained its PR5. I did a little digging and discovered that there is another Sassy Lawyer — a Minecraft character.
Thank you, Minecraft, for keeping the interest in Sassy Lawyer alive. I’m pretty sure you didn’t name the character after me or my column or my writings before and after I had that column but thank you anyway for the indirect benefit. So inspiring. In fact, I’m so inspired that I’m going to start writing as Sassy Lawyer again.
UPDATE: August 18, 2016
I just discovered that after removing the redirect to casaveneracion.com, sassylawyer.com lost the PR5. hahaha
